What will you have with your cocktail?

Cocktail correspondent Stacey Salamone visited picturesque Nemi, a small town outside of Rome, which is on the edge of a volcanic lake. Nemi has the old world feel of a medieval village. No cocktails here but really would have loved one or a good bottle of wine, and a whole day to try every item in this Salumeri.
The main attraction here is the fab porchetta, spiced roasted pork. Also, they make a fantastic salami with wild strawberries in it. The berries are harvested in the surrounding forest. The flavor of the berries adds a nuttiness to the salami, that is quite surprising.
