    Great tips on host­ing a party! I’m only jeal­ous that here in Min­nesota we can’t run out­side to grab some fresh foliage for the cen­ter­piece. That is unless you think a frozen wilted hosta leaf would look good?

    Loved all of these ideas. I used the Lally’s sug­ges­tion of seat­ing by num­bers that you draw from a bowl on Thanks­giv­ing. It was a great way to mix things up. How­ever, there was some seat swap­ping — some peo­ple can’t be trusted. Espe­cially after a cou­ple of great cocktails…

    I gave a lot of this a whirl and appre­ci­ate the sim­ple things like, mix the cock­tail in advance and chill it. Why I never thought of that who can say.
