1 1/2 ounce Creole Shrubb
1 1/2 ounce reposado tequila
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
lemon peel
orange peel
splash of American Beauty grenadine
Combine Creole Shrubb, tequila, lime juice and simple syrup in a shaker. Shake well then pour into a rocks glass prepped with a garnish of lemon and orange peel. Drizzle American Beauty grenadine on top.

Great tips on hosting a party! I’m only jealous that here in Minnesota we can’t run outside to grab some fresh foliage for the centerpiece. That is unless you think a frozen wilted hosta leaf would look good?

Loved all of these ideas. I used the Lally’s suggestion of seating by numbers that you draw from a bowl on Thanksgiving. It was a great way to mix things up. However, there was some seat swapping — some people can’t be trusted. Especially after a couple of great cocktails…

I gave a lot of this a whirl and appreciate the simple things like, mix the cocktail in advance and chill it. Why I never thought of that who can say.
