  1. Vieux Carre Cocktail

    1 ounce rye whiskey
    1 ounce cognac
    1 ounce sweet ver­mouth
    2 dashes Peychaud’s bit­ters
    2 dashes Angos­tura bit­ters
    1/2 tea­spoon Bene­dic­tine
    Com­bine all ingre­di­ents in a cock­tail shaker with ice and shake vig­or­ously.  Strain into a chilled mar­tini glass and serve immediately.

  4. Singapore Sling

    1 ½ oz Tan­queray gin
    ½ oz cherry brandy
    ¼ oz Coin­treau
    ¼ oz Bene­dic­tine
    2 oz pineap­ple juice
    1 dash of Angos­tura bit­ters
    2 dashes grena­dine
    ½ oz fresh lime juice
    Splash of club soda
    Orange slice, for gar­nish
    Lime slice, for gar­nish
    Maraschino cherry, for garnish

  5. Perfect New Orleans Manhattan

    2 oz Wood­ford Reserve bour­bon whiskey
    ½ oz dry ver­mouth
    ½ oz  sweet ver­mouth
    2 dashes Angos­tura bit­ters
    2 dashes Fee Bros orange bit­ters
    Com­bine all ingre­di­ents in a cock­tail shaker.  Stir until well chilled (approx­i­mately 20 turns).  Pour into rocks glass.  Gar­nish with a cherry, brandied if available.

  6. Old Fashioned (NOLA Style)

    In a rocks glass mud­dle…
    ½ slice orange
    1 sugar cube
    1 Maraschino cherry
    2 drops Angos­tura bit­ters
    1 ½ oz Jim Beam
    In a rocks glass mud­dle orange, sugar, cherry and bit­ters.  Add Jim Bean and rocks, top with soda.  No garnish.

  7. Marlene Dietrich

    2 slices orange
    1 slice lemon
    2 ounces Wood­ford Reserve whiskey
    ½ ounce orange cura­cao
    3 dashes Angos­tura bit­ters
    ½ oz sim­ple syrup
    Pour ingre­di­ents into a cock­tail shaker and mud­dle. Be care­ful not to over­mud­dle.  Strain over ice in a rocks glass and gar­nish with 1 slice each of lemon and orange.

  8. Honalulu Cocktail

    2 ozs Ply­mouth gin
    1 oz orange juice
    1 oz pineap­ple juice
    ¾ oz lemon juice
    ½ oz sim­ple syrup
    1 dash Angos­tura bit­ters
    Com­bine ingre­di­ents in a cock­tail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a mar­tini glass and gar­nish with a twist of lemon and silk flower (optional).

  9. Scotch Old Fashioned

    1 orange slice
    1 Maraschino cherry
    1 sugar cube or 1 tea­spoon gran­u­lated sugar
    3 dashes Angos­tura bit­ters
    1 1/2 ounces Scotch
    1 ounce club soda
    Mud­dle together the orange, cherry and sugar in the bot­tom of a rocks glass.  Add the bit­ters and the scotch and stir well.  Add ice to the glass and top off with the club soda.  Serve […]
