  1. Between The Sheets

    1 ounce brandy
    1 ounce dark (such at Apple­ton) rum
    3/4 ounce triple sec
    3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
    2 table­spoons superfine sugar
    lemon twist
    1 lemon wedge
    Place the sugar in a shal­low dish or saucer.  Wet half the out­side of the rim of a rocks glass with the lemon wedge then dip in the sugar.  Fill the glass with ice and set aside.

    1 oz orange juice
    1 oz lime
    1 oz orgeat
    1 oz Ply­mouth gin
    1 oz brandy
    1 oz pas­sion fruit mix­ture
    ½ oz faler­num
    Com­bine all ingre­di­ents in a cock­tail shaker.  Pour into tiki glass, add ice and gar­nish with lime, cher­ries, and an umbrella.

    1/3 cup agave
    1 750-ml bot­tle crisp white wine, such as Sauvi­gnon Blanc
    1/4 cup brandy
    1 cup cher­ries (fresh pit­ted and de-stemmed or canned maraschino)
    3/4 cup sparkling water or club soda
    Ice cubes
    Orange slices
    Small mint sprigs for gar­nish
