Vieux Carre Cocktail
1 ounce rye whiskey 1 ounce cognac 1 ounce sweet vermouth 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters 2 dashes Angostura bitters 1/2 teaspoon Benedictine Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled martini glass and serve immediately.

Chris Hannah’s “The Accourtrement”
In a cocktail shaker combine… 2 oz Calvados ¾ oz Strega ½ oz Creole Shrubb ¼ oz fresh lemon juice 2 dashes of Peychaud’s bitters. Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry.

1 oz Maker’s Mark 1 oz Grand Marnier 1/2 oz fresh lime juice 3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters 1/4 oz Cherry Heering Chill a martini glass. Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and strain into the martini glass. Garnish with an orange peel.
